A lighter coloured press with a soft body and a mild, nutty aroma. Earth and dried herbs sit underneath without much sharpness. Effects are gentle and clear, closer to relaxed than heavy, and it never demands much attention. If you are stepping up from flower for the first time, this is a sensible place to begin.

Colour comes from the cultivar, from how many times the resin was sieved, and from how long it cured before pressing. Early and light sifts give the blonde presses, later sifts press darker, and curing darkens them further still. Darker is not stronger as a rule, though it usually means a fuller, earthier flavour.
